Once again the Club is organising a Know Your Blood Pressure Day at the Spires Shopping Centre in Chipping Barnet between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 23rd April 2016.
Free Blood pressure checks done by medical professionals, will be offered to shoppers under the direction of Barnet Rotarian and GP Dr Ian Johnston.
If you are in Barnet on the 23rd, please find time to drop in during the day and have your blood pressure taken!
This was the eleventh year that the Stroke Association has joined with Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland for this event to have blood pressure checks made.
Civic visit by the Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet.
The Club will be holding its Special General Meeting (S.G.M.) and Business Meeting.
The main items on the SGM agenda are:
- Receiving and approving the examined annual accounts for the year ended 30th June
- Electing by ballot of the members the President for the next year but one
- Electing the Secretary and Treasurer for the next Rotary year
- Electing two voting delegate to attend the ensuing Annual Conference of the Association

The Rotary Club of Barnet continue it’s traditional Christmas Day lunch and entertainment. Guests are invited on the basis that they would otherwise be on their own and many have been coming for a number of years.
