The Rotary Club of Barnet presents its annual QUIZ & SUPPER NIGHT
7.00PM FOR 7.30PM PROMPT START
£12 per head including ‘fish & chip’ supper
Only soft drinks available to purchase. You may however consume your own wine or beer on the premises.
Plastic glasses and cups will be available free of charge.

Golf day includes bacon rolls, coffee, dinner and prize giving.
Timings:
From 10.30 onwards. (Tee times will be confirmed)
The day will include: an auction and a raffle in aid of Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
No Meeting – Club Members will be visiting other Rotary Clubs in the area.
We are having an End Polio Now BBQ
(indoors if the weather is inclement)

Rotary started the initiative to eradicate Polio in 1985 to be joined by the United Nations and world governments in 1988. At the outset there were 365,000 cases a year, currently in 2016 there have been just 21 cases!. But Polio will not be eradicated until there have been zero cases for 3 years so the fund raising must continue.
Please come along and bring your friends and all make generous donations !!

Civic visit by the Mayor of the London Borough of Barnet.
Club Business Meeting for September 2016.
The Club will be holding its Special General Meeting (S.G.M.) and Business Meeting.
The main items on the SGM agenda are:
- Receiving and approving the examined annual accounts for the year ended 30th June
- Electing by ballot of the members the President for the next year but one
- Electing the Secretary and Treasurer for the next Rotary year
- Electing two voting delegate to attend the ensuing Annual Conference of the Association
The Rotary Club of Barnet will again be setting up their stall and selling their famous homemade Mulled Wine and Mince Pies at the Barnet Christmas Fayre.
All proceeds raised will be in aid of The Rotary Club of Barnet’s Charitable activities.
The Fayre will start with ‘A Snow White Christmas’ carnival procession, and will then officially opened by The Mayor of Barnet.
