Chris Miller, from the Charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) will be talking to the Club about how CALM is seeking to prevent Male Suicides.

Club Members will be reporting back from Rotary in London District Conference, held on 21-23 October 2016 in Eastbourne.
A Rotary Forest School is an exciting new concept that will mark Rotary’s contribution to the community in a way that will last for many years. The current climate offers unique opportunities in setting up educational establishments. Rtn. Selwyn Foreman will be explaining the concept of the Rotary Forest School and how it is developing.
Carla will be speaking about The Barnet Hospital Charity’s current project, to provide more outdoor seating for patients, relatives and staff within the hospital grounds.
Deputy Lieutenant and Honorary Member Martin Russell will give a talk to the Club about Barnet’s World War 1 Soldiers, who were awarded the Victoria Cross.
Rotarian Richard Jefferies will be giving a talk entitled “The King and I”, based on his 9 years in Thailand, during which time he had occasion to meet the late King of Thailand, King Bhumibol Adulydej.
The Rotary Club of Barnet will again be setting up their stall and selling their famous homemade Mulled Wine and Mince Pies at the Barnet Christmas Fayre.
All proceeds raised will be in aid of The Rotary Club of Barnet’s Charitable activities.
The Fayre will start with ‘A Snow White Christmas’ carnival procession, and will then officially opened by The Mayor of Barnet.
