The Mayor of Barnet, Councillor David Longstaff supported “Know your Blood Pressure Day” run by Barnet Rotary Club in conjunction with The Stroke Association on Saturday at the Spires Shopping Centre .
The Mayor, popped along to have his blood pressure taken ahead of the London Marathon which he was running in the following day and thanked Barnet Rotary volunteers and local GPs for continuing to promote this initiative. Over a couple of hundred shoppers spared the time to have their Blood Pressure checked and several were advised to visit their GPs as a result.
