Fond memories of fund raising past came back to some members of Barnet Rotary Club at their last meeting when former Rotarian Peter Cragg spoke about a mammoth trip he had undertaken on behalf of the former Friern Barnet and Whetstone Rotary Club in 1995.
Raising £25,000 for Multiple Sclerosis Peter and his fellow Rotarians drove around the whole UK in a massive tractor, meeting Rotary Clubs along the way and undergoing various adventures from Truro in Cornwall to Wick in the North of Scotland.
