Golf day for Rotarians and local businesses to raise funds for local Hospice.
In preparation many local businesses are canvassed to take part in the Golf Day or to donate a raffle or auction prize. The Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice help with the organisation and publicity and publish the Programme given to all at the dinner. 36 Golfers took part including Rotarians and local businesses. Rotarians also came to the dinner and helped on the day. Funds were raised from sponsored holes, the golf, the raffle and the auction.
About £2500 was raised the majority of which will go to the Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice.
